SILVERSANDS / SAFETY
Check your PC download before opening the file
Use the casino’s own download instructions and keep device protection on. If you choose Deluxe instead, its browser route needs no installation. Neither route removes the need to protect your account.
Read the address before entering details
Check the destination before typing your password or making a payment. HTTPS protects information travelling over the connection. A padlock doesn't tell you whether an installer is safe.
Compare the publisher and file details
Look at the publisher or signature information your computer shows. If the casino provides a checksum, compare the downloaded file against that value. A mismatch is a reason to stop.
Unexpected permissions or a request to disable protection should also make you pause. Ask the casino's support team about the file before continuing.
Keep sign-in details to yourself
Give your casino account a password you don't use elsewhere. Turn on extra authentication if the account offers it. Don't share login codes, even with someone offering to fix your setup.
On a shared desktop, sign out and close account tabs when you've finished. Avoid leaving a cashier screen open for the next person.
Check operator details separately
Read the casino's legal and licensing information and check any registration with the named authority. A download page or familiar logo isn't a substitute for that check.
Your spending limit matters too. Device protection can help protect a computer, but it can't protect you from losing a bet.
